Overview

Frank Lightmas is an experienced, effective and respected Atlanta, Georgia, trial lawyer, arbitrator and mediator who has represented both plaintiffs and defendants for over 35 years in commercial and business disputes, litigation, arbitrations and mediations. Most of Frank’s clients come to him through referrals from existing or former clients and other attorneys, including former adversaries, which speaks volumes for the fact that Frank enjoys a reputation for providing outstanding representation and rendering sound judgment and advice while being capable and willing to take on significant matters against tough opponents. Frank also is an experienced Atlanta mediator and arbitrator registered with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution in the areas of arbitration, general mediation and early neutral evaluation. For over 30 years, Frank has served as an arbitrator for parties who have privately retained him and as a member of many arbitration neutral panels. For over 20 years, Frank has also mediated more than 300 cases, of which more than 90% have been settled. Many of these have been complex, multi-party disputes, the largest of which involved over 200 parties.

A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, Frank previously was a partner in the litigation department of Kutak Rock and a partner with Lightmas & Delk. Frank is married to his wife Terri and has two daughters, Lauran (Nichols) and Lindsay.
